Iconic pop band Abba to reunite after 35 years

Abba's Bjorn Ulvaeus previously said the group would never perform again because it would be "too enormous".

Both the songs will be broadcast in December as computerized avatars.

"And it was like time had stood still and that we had only been away on a short holiday". An extremely joyous experience! Find out everything you need to know about the chart-topping pop group before they drop new songs later this year!

"Frida's and Agnetha's voices are the same, so it won't be a huge difference", he said.

"I'm as surprised as everyone else", he said.

ABBA fans have been saying Thank You For The Music today as the pop legends announced they have recorded two new tracks. But ABBA is perhaps the first major music group to tour the world in a digital form. "We're inspired by the limitless possibilities of what the future holds and are loving being a part of creating something new and dramatic here - a time machine that captures the essence of who we were. Easy as anything. It didn't feel weird that they hadn't been in the studio together for 35 years".

At the time, Agnetha and Björn were married and Benny and Anni-Frid were married.

The group dominated the 1970s disco scene with its glitzy costumes, kitsch dance routines and catchy melodies.

Abba won the Eurovision contest in 1974 with the song "Waterloo".

While songwriters Benny Anderson and Bjorn Ulvaeus continued to work together (including a musical, "Chess", with lyricist Tim Rice in 1984), the four members did not appear together publicly onstage again until 2016.

"There is simply no motivation to regroup".

The announcement has given fans hope the real band members might turn up on the hologram tour. Outside of the impossible-dream of having the Beatles reunite, a new Abba may be the biggest reunion that music could muster up.
