BlackBerry Key2, tomorrow official launch. Evan Blass reveals the last details

Hashtag Trending – Facebook removes trending news, Apple’s upcoming WWDC18, BlackBerry’s new Key2 smartphone

The Canadian tech firm has already teased a few features and design aspects of its "icon reborn" via YouTube on May 24, however not almost as much as what can be seen in the latest leak. Although the price is now unknown, if the device is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 660 processor, as previously suggested, we should expect it to be priced similarly to last year's model. Well, if you are still a faithful fan of blackberry, then we have got some juicy news for you. There are many leak renders which has surfaced on the web. Just a few short days before that event, Evan Blass has taken to Twitter to share a few press renders of the upcoming phone. The video also confirmed a physical keyboard on the front, volume rockers, a convenience key and a textured power key on the right.

And it looks like TCL will equip the Key2 with a dual camera, although the specifics of the setup have not yet been revealed.

From the images, we can see that the handset will feature a square-ish screen design as opposed to the elongated screens that are prevalent on smartphones in the market everywhere.

Moving on to the slightly more external aspects of the device, a 4.5-inch display complete with a 1620 x 1080p resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio will once again be present alongside the physical QWERTY keyboard.

The combination of a Snapdragon 660 SoC processor with a large 3,500 mAh battery may result in longer operating time on a full charge. It has two storage options, 64GB and 128GB, expandable up to 256GB through an SD card. That apart the device is expected to run Android Oreo. On the top, the smartphone can have a 3.5 mm audio jack, while on the bottom there is a USB Type-C port.

The leaked images show the rear dual camera system that will adorn the Blackberry Key2. This could of course change, but luckily we won't have to wait long to find out.
