Cavs superstar LeBron James sets NBA Finals record

Stephen Curry hit an NBA Finals-record nine 3-pointers and scored 33 points mixing in big shots with clever celebratory moves while leading the Golden State Warriors to a 122-103 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night for 2-0 lead

Team-mate Kevin Durant also concurred.

Another momentous shot for Durant.

Curry dazzled in outduelling LeBron James as the two superstars traded big shots and celebratory moves, hitting an National Basketball Association finals-record nine three-pointers and scoring 33 points to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 122-103 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers yesterday for 2-0 lead. Teams that have fallen behind 3-0 in the playoffs are 0-131.

It might be time to order some champagne from Napa Valley.

He showed this in the 2017 Finals against the Golden State Warriors when he watched Kyrie Irving run a play and eventually turn it over.

As always Durant stayed cool.

"We've just got to embrace whatever happens and look forward to a insane environment with a team that's desperate", Durant said. If not tomorrow, then in Game 4. "I don't think I'm the problem that they want, though, might want to pick another battle". Right now, the majority appears to believe that James is on his way out of Cleveland, and he will obviously have a lot of suitors.

"He's getting closer, and I'm hopeful that he can play", Kerr said.

"That's pretty much who I've been my whole life", said Smith, who bonded with a therapy dog earlier this season during a rough stretch.

Now with their backs against the wall, LeBron will need to guide his team to four-straight victories if he wants to win his fourth championship.

As Cleveland goes down 2-0 to the Warriors in this year's NBA Finals the talk of James' teammates are once again becoming the topic to help explain the losing. Three days after setting an NBA Finals record with nine made 3-pointers, he connected on 1 of 10.

Curry said the team has been on the same page after his comments previous year and Trump's subsequent revoking of the Warriors' invitation.

These Cavs can't figure it out.

Goodbye, Warriors-Cavs. It was quite a fight while it lasted.

By the time the first half ended with Cleveland up by six, the Warriors had chipped away at big Cavaliers leads twice, thanks mostly to Durant, who had 24 points in the half.

Moments later, Durant delivered his dagger to silence Cleveland's crowd. The last sweep in the Finals was San Antonio over Cleveland in 2007 in James' debut trip to the championship round.

No one knows that better than James.

Smith has been one of the Cavs best options from 3-point range, but he was just 1 for 4 in this game. It'll air on ABC starting at 9 p.m. ET. "It started with the first game of the IN series".

The Warriors had other plans.

The Warriors have had too much for the James-inspired Cavs in the opening three games of the series, with Kevin Durant turning in a match-winning display in Cleveland for a 110-102 triumph. Klay Thompson played in his NBA-high 390th game over the last four seasons.

LeBron James laughed as he came around the backstage partition after arriving fashionably late for his crowded, post-practice news conference. Curry finished with 11 points.

Cavaliers: Kyle Korver continued to struggle.

After burying a 3-pointer on the left wing in the final minute of Game 3 here last year to give Golden State a 3-0 lead, Durant stepped into almost the exact same spot and made another 3 to do it again this year.

Iguodala, the 2015 finals MVP, scored eight points and made one steal in 22 minutes, but his impact went beyond those numbers.

"Just because we're going home doesn't mean we can relax". "But our communication and making it tough for him could be better".

Rodney Hood saw his first real minutes in the series and scored 15 of Cleveland's 23 bench points, going 7-for-11 from the field. "That last play is over, it's behind us and now we've got to move on". Including Wednesday, James has 6,888 career playoff points. "It was more than just what he did for the team".
