Jennifer Lawrence 'quietly dating' NY art gallery director Cooke Maroney

According to a new report, the Red Sparrow star has been quietly dating art gallerist Cooke Maroney for the past few weeks.

Jennifer Lawrence may have exchanged pleasantries with her ex-boyfriend Darren Aronofsky last week but it appears the actress has moved on from the failed relationship and sparked a new romance.

Cooke works at New York's Gladstone Gallery, which represents artists including Lena Dunham's dad, Carroll Dunham, as well as Richard Prince, Anish Kapoor, and Bjork's ex, Matthew Barney.

A source told Page Six they were introduced by Lawrence's best friend Laura Simpson: "They met through Jen's friend Laura ..."

Sources told Page Six that Maroney is known to frequent high-end art openings around the city.

Lawrence also looked like she wasn't wearing any makeup.

Jennifer Lawrence and her new boyfriend are "comfortable" together.

The 27-year-old actress previously dated Coldplay singer Chris Martin, "Black Swan" director Darren Aronofsky, and "X-Men" co-star Nicholas Hoult. While addressing the audience, she referred to her ex-beau as her "good friend".

The Oscar-winner gave her fans a rare glimpse at her love life in a December 2015 chat with Vogue, telling the publication: 'No one ever asks me out. "I don't think that you can have any sort of bad relationship with anybody if you're just blunt", she said.

Despite her failed romances, Lawrence suggested she has been fortunate in the dating department. They began seeing each other just five months after his "conscious uncoupling" from wife-of-10-years Gwyneth Paltrow.
