Roseanne Barr's ex claims she wanted sitcom to be cancelled

Barr created a firestorm this week when she posted a tweet likening former Obama White House senior adviser Valerie Jarrett to an ape.

"Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have made a decision to cancel her show", ABC Entertainment's president, Channing Dungey, said in a statement. "I've been up there [11] times already, and if I didn't get one I'm not going to get one".

In an interview with both CNN and The Hollywood Reporter, Tom Arnold gave his thoughts on the actions of his ex-wife Roseanne Barr and the cancellation of her show Roseanne due to a racist tweet she sent out.

Shortly after Barr was spotted on Thursday she took to Twitter and said that she had forgiven her former castmates Sara Gilbert and Michael Fishman.

"Iger, where is my call of apology?" Channing Dungey, the president of ABC Entertainment, issued a statement Tuesday calling Barr's tweet "abhorrent, repugnant" and announced the show "Roseanne" - which the network had picked up for a second season - was being canceled. How is Brian Ross doing?

A few hours later, she deleted the tweets about her begging ABC not to cancel the show and her apology to her co-star.

Ross later admitted Trump had directed his former national security adviser Flynn to make contact after he won the election, a major adjustment to the story that seemed to suggest a smoking gun connection between Trump's campaign and Russian Federation.

President Trump again called on Bob Iger to apologize for its coverage of him, saying that he and ABC had "offended millions of people". ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has asked for those online to show some compassion for the actress. Like, you know what, no matter what kind of divorce you had, that's a weird thing to say. "I don't read it", he said of Barr's tweeting.

She continued: "Attempting to also get phone numbers for Jarrett, Michelle and GS to personally apologize to them tho I disagree with their politics". "Hey guys, don't defend me.it's sweet of you 2 try, but.losing my show is 0 compared 2 being labelled a racist over one tweet-that I regret even more", she wrote in a replacement tweet.

"I'm exhausted of being smeared over a stupid mistake erasing 30 years of activism", she said in one.
