Viral Video Shows Brooklyn Nail Salon Workers Hitting Woman With A Broom

"Hitting them like animals", the person added.

The incident at the Happy Red Apple Nail Salon happened Friday but the release of the video led to protests outside the salon on Monday.

Everyone is still trying to sort out what was happening inside a Brooklyn nail salon where a pretty wild melee took place with broomsticks flying during a beat-down after a customer allegedly refused to pay for a botched eye brow job, the NY Post reports.

Police later charged Huiyue Zheng, 32 of Brooklyn, with assault, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and harrassment. She was also released on her own recognizance, the Post reports.

"You can't treat us like we're second-class citizens", said one protester.

You can see two angles of the fight in the video below-one from the store's surveillance camera, and one taken by a bystander in the store at the time.

A spokesperson for the Brooklyn district attorney's office says they are in the process of examining all of the evidence, including videos that were not available at the time of the arraignments. "If you pay for a service and you don't like a service, it's a $5 eyebrow". "I said 'sit down, let me call the police".

This is the shocking moment nail salon workers brawled with customers - hitting them with broomsticks, fists and dustpans - after one of them refused to pay for a "f***** up" eyebrow job, witnesses said.

"I'm not trying to die on my bday or go to jail", she wrote. Prosecutors are now reviewing additional evidence and may later alter those charges, the station reported. Thomas refused medical treatment, according to police.

A viral video showing a group of nail salon employees beating a customer with a broom has resulted in backlash for the Brooklyn business.

Police say Thomas hit an employee, who then in turn struck the customer with a broom.

The incident has inflamed racial tensions, and prompted calls for black residents to spend their money elsewhere. "Anytime a store doesn't respect us, we're going to shut it down".

"Until they open a soul food restaurant in Chinatown, we ain't eating over there", one woman tells the crowd.
