Apple’s new iPad Pro might not be as durable as it looks

iPad Pro 11 gets put through scratch, burn and bend testing - GSMArena.com news

Surprise, surprise the iPad Pro actually bends when you try to bend it by. It's also created to stay out of the way of gesture-based navigation, which the iPad Pro adopted from the iPhone XS this year. Well, Apple's latest iPad Pro might have just taken the pedestal from the 2014 device, if the new video is anything to go by.

A hot potato: Back in 2016, Apple claimed in its TV ads that the iPad Pro wasn't just a tablet, but a full computer that was a worthy laptop replacement.

But is it a bad thing that the iPad Pro bends? A tablet this size will be placed often in backpacks, bags, or even on a couch cushion. The email, MacRumors explains, reiterates that Apple's Shopping Event takes place between November 23rd and November 26th. Earlier, Filip Koroy of popular YouTube channel EverythingApplePro showed how fragile the new iPad Pros are when dropped from waist height.

One designer argues that using an iPad Pro will "blow away" nearly any computer at video rendering, and that the iPad is better than a computer because just seeing one app at a time is less distracting. As was the case with the iPhone 6 Plus during 2016's Bendgate, this could also be an issue if you sit on it (which seems considerably less likely given the sheer size of the iPad Pro). I'm not defending Apple here but we have to be reasonable too right?

Everything has a failure threshold and the iPad Pro is no different. Of these, the new iPad Pro tablet is particularly interesting.

But, it turns out, the iPad Pros can be bent with your bare hands, so you'd better make sure you protect yours accordingly and avoid placing it in areas where it could be easily damaged.
