James Corden let Barbra Streisand drive him to work during Thursday's new Carpool Karaoke instalment on The Late Late Show.

Corden joins her on "The Way We Were", "Imagine/What A Wonderful World", and "Don't Rain On My Parade", and "Walls" from her new album.

In between songs, Streisand joked about recently renewing her driver's license after failing the written test three times.

While Streisand was happy to sings duets of her classic tunes with Corden, she also debuted the new song "Don't Lie to Me" from her latest album, Walls, which was released today.

Streisand was nominated for a Tony in 1962 for I Can Get It For Your Wholesale and then again in 1964 for Funny Girl. "I get scared. I just don't want to disappoint people".

"Siri is saying my name wrong".

Streisand has battled stage fright most of her career, which once led to her taking a 27-year hiatus from touring. And yet, one of the first things she admitted was that she may not be the world's best driver.

A source close to the show production tells ET, "We shot for two hours".

"People still mispronounce my name, they say Stry-zand, Strisand in England", she complained. "All I can do is write about it", she says.

"Every song relates to something about what's going on in these hard times".

Not long ago, Page Six had a story about how, even at a fundraising telethon, Barbra Streisand would only let cameras shoot her from her good side.
