LSU analyst punched in pacemaker after loss to Texas A&M

Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Kellen Mond leaps a defender on a carry during overtime of an NCAA college football game between Texas A&M and LSU at Kyle Field on Sunday Nov. 25 2018 in College Station TX

According to LSU, the credentialed member from TAMU first punched LSU analyst Steve Kragthorpe, which apparently led to Faulk retaliating. Kragthorpe has Parkinson's disease and has the pacemaker to help stimulate his brain.

Once again Faulk should be commended for this not punished.

The scuffle was caught on camera as Faulk was seen with his hands on the other man in a photo captured by a photographer from the Baton Rouge Advocate.

LSU's coaches reacted accordingly after the punch, including director of player personnel Kevin Faulk.

The Advocate reported that Dameyune Craig was in the middle of the incident.

Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver Kendrick Rogers brings in an acrobatic reception for a touchdown during the third overtime period of an NCAA college football game between Texas A&M and LSU at Kyle Field on Saturday Nov. 24 2018 in College Station T

Kragthorpe says he will not press charges, but could ask Texas A&M to reimburse any charges related to fixing his pacemaker.

He has reportedly been on the sidelines for games at both Florida State and Texas A&M, though he has no official role with either school. He joined the LSU staff in January. "I didn't go down, but I clutched over". Fisher told reporters after the game that he was not aware of the scuffle and "had no idea" what happened.

A&M quarterback Keller Mond's 2-point conversion to Kendrick Rogers provided the decisive score in the game's seventh overtime, which tied the NCAA record for the most overtimes in an FBS game, providing the Aggies with a 74-72 victory.

Burrow threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to Dee Anderson in triple overtime and Justin Jefferson grabbed the 2-point conversion. He was the team's offensive coordinator in 2011 and 2012 and became a special assistant after he was diagnosed.
